well this weekend provided me with yet more evidence of how much i have changed my life. not only did i take part in my first ever 5k event, i finished it in a time that knocked over a minute off my target time.

which reminds me, not only did i fail to maintain the journal (and my fitness pal) over the weekend – i still need to write up my race recap!

i was undecided whether to go for a run this morning or have a rest day – in the end it was quite a late night, and i had an unsettled night resulting in only a couple of hours sleep in total. so that was decided then – rest day!

03:45 – 1 berocca, 1 x multivit, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 x glucosamine, zinc tablet

04:50 – bus, nap

05:45 – fruit n bran cereal, 2 slices toast, butter, plum jam, black coffee

08:30 – orange

9:45 – classic choc & oats bar

12:15 – lite n easy pizza supreme

13:00 – corn & parmesan muffin

14:00 – pear

14:15 – bus, nap

15:45 – push-ups & core (see below)

18:30 – chicken, pasta & veggies

20:15 – milk, 3 fish oil capsules, 1 night-time multi
